Adventure Quest Outfitters operate out of two great locations in NL, Canada - Moose Mountain Lodge and Mitchell's Pond Camp so are able to tailer your Newfoundland adventure to your exact requirements.

Our main lodge, Moose Mountain Lodge, is essentially an elite resort style operation with our main lodge accommodating up to 40 people. Our kitchen facilities are world class with our own in house award winning chef - Chef "Alphonse".

Chopper fly to location hunts can be arranged and are not uncommon for those wishing to take part in the ultimate hunting experience. Camp is located just off the Burgeo Highway, approximately 20 minutes from Stephenville, and one hour from Deer Lake. If you you can afford more time and prefer to drive, we are 2 hours from the Port aux Basque Marine Atlantic ferry terminal.

Experience a bit of Newfoundland through our music, traditional dishes and artworks. Participate in a "Screech In" ceremony to become an honorary Newfoundlander during your stay. Bring a group of friends or your corporate guests and combine business with pleasure or just come for the hunting/fishing adventure of a lifetime, an adventure that you will never forget!!

Guests of Mitchell's Pond Hunting and Fishing Outfitters stay in our comfortable base camp lodge that provides all of the required amenities yet is rustic by design. We can accommodate up to seven guests in two semi-private and two single rooms. We also provide a quaint living area and dining room area.

Camp also includes a cozy wood fire where we invite you to chat about your thrilling guided hunting adventures.

For those who desire a more remote wilderness experience, Mitchell's Pond Hunting & Fishing Outfitters features two spike camps accessible only by all terrain vehicles. Many guests opt to spend a few nights in one of these comfortable cabins close to the trophy game they seek. All of our camps are equipped with radios and radio telephones in case of emergency.

Good food - and plenty of it - is an important aspect of any quality hunting experience. Guests of Mitchell's Pond Hunting and Fishing Outfitters are welcome to relax and enjoy a delicious hearty meal after a challenging day of bear hunting, moose hunting or caribou hunting in Newfoundland Canada. Our cooks prepare substantial portions of healthy breakfast, nourishing packed lunch and outstanding main meals. Feast upon satisfying array of regional delicacies including fresh fish, game and tempting homemade desserts. We are able to adjust any recipe to meet special demands or dietary considerations.
